Marissa & Blake’s Pinecrest Wedding was a beautiful emotional and elegant summer day in Colorado! I love the Pinecrest Wedding venue for its rustic mountain vibes and professional staff who keep everything running smoothly. There are prep rooms in different buildings for both the bride and groom. Each room is painted white which gives the spaces a light and airy feel. This means that whatever wedding colors you choose it will look great in these spaces!

There is a Chapel for indoor ceremonies which is also white inside with large chandeliers and lots of seating. The front door of the chapel faces east so in the afternoon it is in shade which makes it perfect for family and wedding party group photos. If you prefer to hold your ceremony outdoors there is a dedicated and specially built outdoor ceremony space too.

The reception hall is huge with wooden beams and a stage. The stage is perfect for huge light up signs from Make It Lit COS, you’ll see that Marissa & Blake had their name in lights behind their sweetheart table. The venue buildings are located on a small street that points right at a mountain in the distance, making the street outside the venue a great place for some evening portraits too. Overall Pinecrest is a great wedding venue with an excellent team behind it, if you like its style you will not be disappointed!

I loved photographing Marissa & Blake’s wedding day. There was a wonderful buzz of excitement in their prep rooms and you could tell that there would be lots of happy tears. One of my favorite moments was during the ceremony when the flower girls were spreading the petals and one of them stopped at the end of the aisle and tipped her basket upside down, just to make sure all the petals were gone.
